In Acts 9 we find Paul preaching the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The preaching of the truth strengthened Paul but angered the religious crowd who waited at the gate of the city to catch Paul and stone him. The Christian brethren came together and supported Paul, lowering him in a basket over the walls of the city to escape for his life. With this reference we can apply the truth to the church…
