Guidelines for a Commitment

Acts 1:8

“…and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

1. The First Faith Promise Missions Commitment II Corinthians 8:8-12; 9:6-12

According to verse 8, why do we give to Missions?

According to verse 10, how long does a Missions Commitment last?

What happens when we stop giving to Missions?

In 9:8, what is God going to do when you give to Missions?

2. Guidelines to making a Faith Promise Missions Commitment Ecclesiastes 5:1-7

Verse 1 – Be ready to listen to the Spirit of God and what He lays on your heart.

Verse 2 – Don’t make a quick commitment.

Verse 2 – Realize it is a commitment to God, not man.

Verse 4-5 – Realize what this commitment is.

Verse 4 – What does God call those that don’t keep their commitment?

Verse 4 – God expects us to fulfill our commitment.

Verse 5 – God gets serious about our commitment.

Verse 6 – Once you make a commitment, don’t try to retract it.

Verse 7 – Remember, with our commitment we must fear God.
