Our pastor, Dr. Terry LeQuieu, was raised in church. As a teenager he attended Jacksonville Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Arkansas, where he met his future wife, Heather (Theroux) LeQuieu, who was saved at the age of 13 (2000). Terry received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour at the age of 15 on June 22, 2003. He graduated from JCA in 2006, and then graduated from Bethel Baptist College in 2010. Terry and Heather were married on May 21, 2010. Terry and Heather have 2 children who have both been saved and are serving in various capacities.
Bro. Terry worked for 2 years at Ambassador Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas, and then for 12 1/2 years as an Assistant Pastor at Cornerstone Baptist Church in McAlester, Oklahoma, where he now is Pastor. Terry received his Masters (2013) and Doctorate (2014) from Calvary Baptist Bible Institute in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
Terry has a deep love and respect for the Word of God and it being the foundation for all faith and practice in the local New Testament Church. He has a desire to reach everyone with the Gospel, but has a special burden for reaching families of all ages and sizes.
