There is a common perception today that everybody is saved. Often a person thinks he is saved simply because he can remember that he prayed a prayer. But what about his life since then? Salvation does not come simply because a sinner asks to be saved, but when a sinner repents of his sins and trusts the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour, he is saved right where he is. Some people have the words down to a pat, but there has been little to no change at all. If we really want God’s blessings on our life we are going to have to examine our salvation.
