Praise the Lord for the Great Summer that he allowed us to be partakers of. With the Lord’s help we were able to host our very first annual Vacation Bible School with a great success. We were able to reach many young people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and saw many receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Praise the Lord! We have already started to plan for next year’s VBS and you will not want to miss it. A special thanks goes out to all of the staff and laymen at Cornerstone for making this a success. We were also privileged to have out dear friend, Bro. Jim Martin be our special speaker to reach our young people. What a wonderful presentation of the gospel he provided for our young people. All of the kids had a fun time both in the services and with the many different crafts they were able to do each night. Altogether they built and painted a church bird house, created picture frames with their picture in it for their parents, and painted an “I Love VBS” wall decoration. It was really an enjoyable event.
